Horrow films seek to draw out a negative emotional reaction from people by playing on the audiences most primal fears, they often have scenes that startle viewers through the means of macabre and the supernatural and frequently overlapping the fantasy and science fiction genre, horrors also frequently overlap the thriller genre.
